1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using FitDietAI ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

2. Subscription & Payments

FitDietAI is a paid subscription service. A subscription is required to access all features including food scanning, barcode scanning, and meal logging.

• Weekly: $3.99/week
• Monthly: $8.99/month
• Yearly: $59.99/year

Subscriptions are billed through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store. Payment is charged to your App Store or Play Store account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel your subscription in your device's App Store or Play Store settings.

3. Refunds

Refunds are handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) according to their respective refund policies. FitDietAI does not process payments directly and cannot issue refunds. To request a refund, contact Apple or Google support.

4. AI-Generated Nutritional Data

Important Disclaimer: Nutritional data provided by FitDietAI is generated using our proprietary DeepPlate AI™ and third-party nutrition databases. While we strive for accuracy, this data is provided for informational purposes only and should not be considered medical or dietary advice.

• AI-estimated nutrition values may not be 100% accurate
• Portion sizes are estimated from photos and may vary
• Data from third-party databases (USDA, Open Food Facts, FatSecret, CalorieNinjas) may contain inaccuracies
• Do not rely solely on this app for medical dietary requirements

Always consult a healthcare professional or registered dietitian for medical nutrition advice.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract source code
• Circumvent subscription requirements or payment mechanisms
• Submit content that is offensive, harmful, or violates others' rights
• Use automated systems to access the App's AI features
• Share your account credentials with others

6. Intellectual Property

FitDietAI, its logo, design, and all related content are the property of FitDietAI. You may not use our branding without written permission. Nutritional data from third-party sources is subject to their respective licenses.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, FitDietAI shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Service Availability

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Features may be modified, updated, or discontinued at our discretion. AI model capabilities may evolve as we improve DeepPlate AI™.

9. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time via Profile > Settings > Delete Account. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, all data is permanently deleted per our Privacy Policy.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
